PRI Headline
The UNPRI is a voluntary code for investors aimed at raising awareness of corporate and environmental responsibility. They are a set of six environmental, social and corporate governance guidelines, supported by 35 possible actions, designed to guide institutional investors towards responsible investment.
Results are scored on a per-Principle basis. Overall, we scored best in those areas which matter most to us e.g. integration and engagement. In particular, incorporating ESG issues into investment analysis and decision making processes; being active owners and incorporating ESG issues into our ownership policies and practices; and seeking appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities in which we invest.
We scored slightly less well (although still good) on those which were less relevant e.g. promoting the Principles amongst others in the investment industry and reporting to external clients.
